Zouk Mikael is located on Keserwan coast. It extends over a geographical area of 308 hectares, and is 14 kilometers from the capital Beirut, starting from the highway.

 

According to Anis Freiha’s theory concerning the formal foundation of Lebanese villages’ construction, it’s believed that the urbanism began in Zouk starting 1617 as the Khazens began buying Turkmen real estate in Zouk.

 

Zouk Mikael offers many facilities to its 47 thousand residents, including schools; monasteries; commercial,health,cultural and tourism institutions.
